With this data protection declaration, we inform you about the extent of the processing of your personal data (hereinafter only “data”).

B. Data processing

a) Log file

We log your visit to our websites. The following data will be processed: Name of the website accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, your operating system, referrer URL (previously visited website), your IP address and the requesting provider. This is necessary to ensure the security of the website. We process the data accordingly on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO. The log file will be deleted after seven days unless it is needed to clarify or prove specific legal violations that have become known within the retention period.

b) Hosting

Within the scope of hosting, all data to be processed in connection with the operation of this website will be stored. This is necessary to enable the operation of the website. We process the data accordingly on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO. To provide our online presence, we use the services of web hosting providers to whom we transmit the above-mentioned data.

(c) Making contact and giving expert advice by telephone

If you contact us, your data (name, contact data, if provided by you) and your message will be processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling your inquiry, e.g. within the framework of phone consultation. This data is processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 b) DSGVO or Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO in order to process your enquiry.

d) Newsletter

In order to send you information about our company and our offers on a regular basis, we offer to send you a newsletter. When you register for the newsletter, we process the data entered by you (e-mail address and other voluntary information).

The newsletter will be sent upon registration with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 a) DSGVO.

The registration for the newsletter takes place in the so-called double opt-in procedure. To prevent misuse, we will send you an e-mail after your registration asking you to confirm your registration. In order to be able to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements, your registration will be logged. This concerns the storage of the registration and confirmation times as well as your IP address. 

To send the newsletter, we use service providers to whom we transmit the above-mentioned data.

e) User account

When you open a user account, you consent to the storage of your inventory data (name, address, e-mail address, bank details) and your usage data (user name, password). This enables us to identify you as a customer and gives you the opportunity to manage your orders.

Your data will be processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 a) DSGVO.

f) Purchase processing

We process your order data to process the purchase contract. The processing of the data takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 b) DSGVO.

We transmit your address data to the company commissioned with the delivery. If it is necessary for the handling of the contract, we additionally transmit your e-mail address or your telephone number for the coordination of the delivery date (advice) to the company commissioned with the delivery.

We transmit your transaction data (name, date of the order, method of payment, date of dispatch and/or receipt, amount and payee, if applicable bank details or credit card details) to the payment service provider commissioned to process the payment.

g) Cookies, website analysis and marketing

In order to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies. These are short data packages which are stored on your device and exchanged with other providers. Some of the cookies we use are deleted immediately after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and make it possible to recognise your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).

We use “Google Analytics”, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), for the purpose of website analysis.

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We use the stored information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators and provide other services relating to website activity. We point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIp()”. This shortens IP addresses before they are transmitted to a server in the USA. A direct personal reference in connection with the stored data is therefore usually excluded. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a server in the USA and shortened there.

(h) Integration of external content (“content”)

We use the Google Maps service from Google to provide you with an interactive map. When the map is displayed, data, including your IP address and your location, is transferred to Google's servers in the USA and stored there. This processing takes place due to our predominantly justified interest in optimal marketing of our offer according to art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO.

Seal of approval - Trusted Shops Trustbadge -

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and the Trusted Shops products for buyers after placing an order. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer of the Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne. When calling the Trustbadge, your IP address, date and time of the call, transferred data volume and the requesting provider (access data) are transmitted to the servers of Trusted Shops. These access data are not evaluated and are automatically overwritten at the latest seven days after the end of your page visit. This data is transferred due to our justified interest in the best possible marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO. Further personal data will only be transferred to Trusted Shops if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after placing an order or if you have already registered to use them. For the analysis of the user behaviour on our web pages, for the optimization of our online offer, and to personalize contents and announcements, we use certain Cookies, which store your IP address.  

We use external dynamic content to optimise the presentation and content of our website. When you visit our website, an API is automatically used to send a request to the server of the respective content provider, where certain log data (e.g. the IP address of the user) are transmitted. The dynamic content is then transmitted to our website and displayed there. We use external content in connection with the following functionalities:

For data transfers to the USA, an adequacy decision of the EU Commission, the EU-US Privacy Shield, is in place.  In this decision, the Commission has certified that the guarantees for the transfer of data to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Privacy Shield comply with the data protection standards in the EU. As far as we transfer data to the USA, we have marked the participation of our service providers in the EU-US Privacy Shield.

C.    Duration of data storage

We store personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or a consent given by you has been revoked by you. Upon request, you will receive information free of charge about all personal data that we have stored about you.
